The article I read about Cyber Safety states that the home address and phone number of Martin Shkreli, the most hated man in America at the moment, have been posted online. Earlier this week Shkreli, the CEO of Turing Pharmaceuticals, bought the rights to produce Daraprim, a life saving drug for people who suffer from HIV and AIDs. Shkreli immediately raised the price of this vital drug from $13.50 per pill to $750, saying it was simply "about making money".
Shkreli's contact info was posted on 4chan on Wednesday night, a site where people can post anonymous photos and a favorite hangout spot of hackers. I personally am ecstatic that this has happened. Posting people's contact information online, also known as doxxing, has been a trend for a few years now. It's not necessarily good, and is technically illegal, but if it can be used to take egotistical idiots down a peg when they get the idea that they're allowed to kill people for a salary raise, then it's alright in my book.
